The Sane-Asylum is an integrated bespoke creative direction and solution division within SANE communications, comprising of ‘inmates’ – genius minds considered and chosen for their innate and bespoke ability conducive to a project – the asylum will answer briefs and create pitches relating to the creation of key collateral and assets of a visual or promotional nature for brands / companies

As a result all the ideas that go into the Asylum padded cell strategy meetings are conceived with a global mindset.
This coupled with our key experience in helping break new brands into the UK market, as well as building on the reputation of existing ones, means we are uniquely placed to provide content creation for our clients. Our network of creatives include stylists, photographers & videographers, copywriters and brand consultants, facilitating the assembly of an inventive and resourceful team to work on one off projects, or on-going brand development missions.

The SANE Asylum is managed and directed by it’s founding members:
Stephen Monaghan –Founder & Creative Director -A globally nomadic itinerant who has chosen to lay his foundations all in the name of creativity, brick by brick. Steve has been fortunate enough to cut his teeth with people he reveres as friends as well as heroes and icons.
Su Monaghan – Founder & Consultant- Founder of SANE Communications, Su has a depth of knowledge and experience in creative PR & Marketing that extends across a multitude of platforms, wiith a unique level of understanding of the UK market.
Atip Wananuruks –Creative Director – a stylist and creative with over 20 years experience in the fashion industry, Atip is passionate about clothing and the creation of beautiful imagery. With the likes of Liberty & Nike as previous clients Atip is ideally placed to consult and curate new and
interesting visual brand collateral.
Ben Ari Grant –Art Director – The first man in and probably the last man standing. With a strong background in British Streetwear, Ben has been at SANE from the beginning, and helped Steve and Su build one of the most resourceful PR agencies in the UK, whilst project managing many of SANE’s creative projects and PR Strategies.
